465-bed hospital, level 2 Trauma Center, (operating as and soon to be a Level 1). 100% Inpatient includes: Consultations, rounding and first Assist, all procedures are done at the hospital, no clinic base. Cases are spine, brain and trauma. Average Patient Census is 15-20 not including consultations which range from 5-7 within a 24-hour period. Work Schedule and Call Requirements are 24 hours, usually broken up within 2 weeks. It could be 24 followed by 24 off then back the next day. The service is covered 24 hours at time this could be negotiated to something that suits you, Bonus shifts are also available.
